Some Thoughts About Piano Lessons
Perfect timing: How do I know when my child is ready to start piano lessons?
I find great joy when I collaborate with other musicians. I have worked extensively with vocal and instrumental soloists and groups. I have accompanied all levels of students at Solo and Ensemble local and state festivals, recitals, and competitions. Whether I’m working with Suzuki pre-twinklers or advanced students, I try to build musical relationships that allow students to express their own ideas and become comfortable performing in front of judges or audiences.
Here is a link to my daughter Ruth’s double bass senior recital. Ruth, my daughter Elly, and I played the second movement from Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio No. 1, Op. 49. I hope you enjoy hearing it as much as I enjoyed playing.
